Tamil box office saw two big ticket films – Varisu and Thunivu this Pongal season. Both films made the most of the Sankranthi advantage and went big at the box office.
Cut to now, these films appear to be going for a head-on clash in the OTT Space as well.
The latest reports are suggesting that Thunivu and Varisu could be made available for streaming on OTT on the same day.
Apparently, Thunivu will stream on Netflix from the 10th of February, and Varisu will stream on Amazon Prime Video from the same day.
Both films released in theaters on the same day – 11th January and now, they appear to be heading for the OTT premieres on the same day – 10th February.
