The privilege committee gave a shock to two TDP leaders. MLAs Kinjarapu Atchennaidu and Nimmala Ramanaidu were served notices by the committee. Atchennaidu was referred by the speaker where for Rama Naidu, the resolution has been made in the chief VIP assembly itself.
This has to be considered that there was no discussion in the committee on the notice of assembly rights given by the TDP in the past. The committee clarified that these could not be discussed due to lack of proper format. The next Privilege Committee meeting is scheduled on January 18 or 19 in Tirupati.
The committee meeting was attended by members of the ruling party and the opposition. TDP members insisted on discussing the notice given by the TDP against CM YS Jagan and Minister Kannababu but much to their dissatisfaction the committee disagreed immediately.
In response, Privilege Committee Chairman, YCP MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy said that the Speaker himself had referred to Atchennaidu and a resolution had been passed in the Assembly on Ramanayudu.
