After TDP faced an insulting debacle in the recent assembly and Lok Sabha elections, several leaders of the party are in contact with the ruling party and are keen to jump anytime.
At this point of time, the party chief Chandrababu Naidu is not in a position to believe anyone else other than Kinjarapu family, who stood behind TDP as a strong pillar since long.

While Rammohan Naidu is already the deputy leader in Lok Sabha from TDP, Chandrababu is now planning to offer him the post of TDP president of AP, as well.
Kala Venkat Rao is the current president of TDP, but he contested as an MLA in the recent elections and lost to YSRCP candidate. Rammohan Naidu on the other side, won as an MP again in the elections. Adding to it, he belongs to BC community and is expected to boost the party’s youth and bring the lost glory to to TDP. He was thus considered as a suitable candidate for the President post.

While Atchennaidu is the deputy leader from TDP in assembly, his son Rammohan Naidu about to take up the position of the party’s president has now acquired quite significance among the political circles.
