Twitter’s announcement: Here’s 2020 most tweeted Actors, Actress and Movies list

For the netizens, twitter has become the go-to platform for everything right from sports with #IPL2020, #WhistlePodu and #TeamIndia becoming the most shared hashtags in sports. Movies and TV were no exception.

Across the world, more than 7,000 Tweets per minute were shared about TV and movies this year by the film buffs. In India, Hindi film #DilBechara, Tamil film #SooraraiPottru and Telugu film #SarileruNeekevvaru were the most Tweeted films this year.Now twitter has announced the most tweeted about actors-male in 2020 too. All the fans of few actors who topped the list, kept hailing their idols and proudly shared about their achievement.

Especially Tollywood fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu (who grabbed the first position) and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan (who is in second position) were quite delighted at the news. MaheshBabu’s tweets and Pawan Kalyan’s presence on twitter has unduly grown ever since the lockdown began. While on the other hand Tamil star Vijay was placed third and this was well known to many in Kollywood as his selfie pic with fans spread like wildfire.

Apart from that, other male actors ranked are—Tarak- 4th, Suriya-5th, Allu Arjun-6th, RamCharan-7th Dhanush-8th, Mohanlal-9th, Chiranjeevi-10th.

Also the most tweeted about actors-female in 2020 include Keerthi Suresh, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha Akkineni ranked in first three places as they have been ruling the roost in Tollywood along with their active engagement on social media. While Rashmika is ranked 4th, Pooja hegde-5th, Tapsee-6th, Tamannaah-7th, Rakul Preet-8th, Shruthi Hassan-9th and Trisha is in 10th position.
