The hustle and bustle of Tungabhadra pushkaralu (Tungabhadra pushkaralu) has now started in the Telugu states. Arrangements for the Tungabhadra river pushkars, which will begin from November 20, are nearing completion and is all set in AP and Telangana states.
In Hinduism, especially in India, the importance of river pushkars is immeasurable. As Guru enters each constellation, pushkars arrive in each river. Thus it takes 12 years for one Pushkar and lasts for 12 days.
The Telangana government is beefing up security measures for 17 pushkar ghats. Arrangements are being made along the Tungabhadra river flowing in Alampur constituency of the state as per covid norms. The Pushkars will be held from the 20th of this month at 1:23 P.m and last till 1st of December. E- pass was made compulsory for devotees.
Pushkar Ghats are available along the banks of the Tungabhadra River at Alampur, Kalugotla, Pullur, Rajoli and Veni Sompuram. Telangana Revenue Minister Indira Reddy, Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy and Sports Minister Srinivas Gowda visited the Jogulamba and Balabrahmeswara Swamy temples in Alampur and inspected the Tungabhadra Pushkar arrangements along with officials from different concerned departments.
