The Telangana State Election Commission has issued a notification regarding the elections in the state.
It announced that the nominations will be accepted until April 18th and the nominations will be examined on the 19th of this month. Withdrawal of nominations will take place on April 22nd and the polling will be held on April 30. The results will be announced on May 3.
Elections will also be held for Warangal and Khammam corporations. Elections will be held in Siddipet, Jadcharla, Kothuru, Achanpeta, and Nakirekal municipalities.
A notification has been issued for the by-election in Lingojiguda for the vacant councilors posts in 8 municipalities. A total of 1532 polling stations will be set up and 2479 ballot boxes will be used for these elections.
