The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi has managed to win the Munugode bypolls with a margin of over 10,000 votes in its bank. Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy is the TRS representative, who won with such a huge victory. On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party, which gave the TRS a huge fight, came second.
Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy is the BJP representative, while Palvai Sravanthi, representing the Congress party, came third in the bypolls. Even independent candidates showed their own mark in the bypolls, with a couple of candidates getting a good number of votes.
On the whole, the TRS seems to have reaffirmed its power in the Telangana state, and it is to be seen what sort of reply CM KCR will have for such a victory, and how the BJP will respond.
