In a major setback to the ruling TRS party, Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) Kengarla Mallaiah resigned and with this, the TRS-affiliate body TBGKS is split into two groups.
The BJP, which is waiting for a chance to go against the TRS, is planning to pull the political mileage out of the situation. The association of Singareni Collieries with TRS is very strong and the ruling party considers it as a stronghold. But BJP successfully managed to split both.
Reportedly, Mallaiah has already held talks with Telangana BJP President Laxman and got the required assurance from him. So it is widely believed that Mallaiah is all set to join Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, the labor wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) soon.
Speaking to the media after resigning to TBGKS, Mallaiah said, “I was insulted by the party and none from the high command responded, when I complained the issue to them.”
Meanwhile, the current trade union term is going to end in October. So the upcoming elections are going to be tough between TRS and BJP backed unions.
