Yes, that is what the sources confirm that Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered the State Machinery to prepare for a massive survey to be conducted across the State.
As the Government Employees are all given leave and government offices are also shut, this survey will be conducted by Volunteers.
Huge numbers of Volunteers will be needed to successfully perform this exercise. But won’t it affect the transmission of the virus through these Volunteers itself if they are going door to door and from area to area?
This is another dilemma that the government is facing. But if people are just back at home and not being tested for the virus, how will the patients be identified in time?
Already there is a criticism from the international arena that India has very low cases of Coronavirus confirmed cases because it is not testing enough people.
Though the Doctors are suggesting that there is no need for random tests, Jagan government wants to be proactive in this case. Both today and tomorrow the survey will be exercised in A.P and the positive cases will be sent to Quarantine.
