Under some dramatic circumstances, the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam has decided not to allow any devotees to visit the Seven Hills and even ordered its existing pilgrims to vacate the premises before 6.00 PM.
After the Corona outbreak, the number of pilgrims being visited Tirumala has been decreased but the services continued till a devotee has been detected with Corona symptoms this afternoon and immediately he was shifted to Ruia hospital and kept in an isolation ward.
Later an emergency meeting took place and the TTD has decided not to take any chances and imposed restrictions in Tirumala. The TTD also took the state and central government’s instructions into consideration and based on this, the TTD will shut down two ghat roads leading to the seven hills.
However, they will perform the daily routine to Lord Venkateswara in closed doors. The gates will remain closed until further orders from the government. Along with the Seven Hills, all the churches, temples and mosques are ordered close down until further notice.
