Lokesh: Then, it was your father, and now it’s you

Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh took a dig at YS Jagan and his father, YS Rajasekhar Reddy as well. Addressing the notices that were sent to Naidu regarding the assigning of lands in Amaravati, Lokesh said that YSR himself failed to implicate Naidu in false cases and said that there was no way that Jagan would be able to do it.

The High Court gave a stay order on the investigation that the CID is conducting into the issue. Lokesh released an 8-minute long video, listing out the various times that the YS family tried to implicate Naidu in false cases and failed. Lokesh said that his father is a very honest man and that the YS family should stop trying to paint a wrong picture about him, as they will ultimately fail.

Lokesh spoke about the upcoming Tiruapti by-elections as well. Lokesh said that the people’s voice would not be heard if the YSRCP’s candidate wins but said that the people’s voice would resonate throughout the Lok Sabha if TDP’s candidate, Panabaka Lakshmi, wins.

Lokesh questioned why the YSRCP kept silent despite having 22 MPs at its disposal in the Lok Sabha when the Central Government announced its plan of privatising the Visakha Steel Plant.

The Tirupati by-elections are scheduled to take place on April 17th, and all parties are giving it their best to make sure that they win the elections. CM Jagan is said to have instructed his party members to make sure that the YSRCP’s candidate, Gurumoorthy, wins at any cost.
