It is known that WhatsApp brought its new privacy policy a few months ago. Recently, the Indian government has asked Facebook-owned WhatsApp to withdraw it.
The Electronics and Information Technology Department wrote a letter to WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart to this effect asking him to respect the privacy and data security of Indian consumers.
It also stated that India is one of the largest markets for WhatsApp worldwide.
The letter said that the new changes made by WhatsApp to its privacy policy had brought serious problems in matters related to the autonomy and choice of the Indian people.
The government has seriously misrepresented the WhatsApp message that if you do not agree to the terms, leave WhatsApp.
