Joe Biden is making sensational decisions after being sworn in as US president. Controversial decisions made during the Trump administration in the past are being reviewed. The Biden government has also recently focused on the issue of H1B visa holders.
The Biden government announced that the H1B visa holders are also allowed to bring their family members to the United States.
Spouses of H1B visa holders fall under the H4 visa. In the past, however, spouses of H1B visa holders were not allowed to work in the United States. The Obama administration has checked the rule and issued directives that spouses of H1B visa holders can also work in the United States.
Trump, who came after the Obama administration, revoked those work permits issued by the Obama administration in 2019. The decision by Joe Biden has been hailed by Indians.
