Tesla to set up its Production Unit in Karnataka!!

Tech giant Tesla is reportedly planning to set up an electric car manufacturing plant in Bangalore, Karnataka.

The state chief minister said in a statement that the US-based Tesla is setting up a manufacturing unit in Karnataka. Last month, Tesla set up its Indian divisional office in Bangalore.

It remains to be seen whether the recent statement from the Karnataka government was aimed at the R&D unit or just at the manufacturing unit.

After five years, Tesla is now preparing to enter India with the recent changes in government policies. The company’s CEO Elon Musk revealed this on Twitter in December.

India, on the other hand, is also looking to reduce the burden of oil imports by promoting the manufacture of electric cars.

It is also preparing to provide $ 4.6 billion in subsidies. But, AP failed to attract the Tesla plant using the positive image that came with the establishment of the Kia industry.
