Nothing has been well between the TRS and the BJP for the past few months, with Telangana Chief Minister KCR lashing out at the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at every opportunity. Members of the TRS have also been attacking the BJP at every opportunity, and today, they have protested in front of the BJP building in Hyderabad.
This is with regards to the Centre misleading the Parliament on reservation for Scheduled Tribes. They demanded the sacking of Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Er. Bishweswar Tudu, stating that the minister lied about the state government not giving any proposal about increasing the quantum of reservation for Scheduled Tribes (STs). Members of the BJP came out of their building to counter the attacks of the TRS members as well.
Things were getting intense when the POlice intervened and detained several TRS members, which was when things got peaceful. The BJP hasn’t yet responded on the matter, and it is to be seen what the party would have to say about the same.
