The kind of love, the audience develop on film stars, especially in the southern film industry is huge. While many wait for a chance to get into the films, there are few actors and actresses, who lost their lives, at an early age. A list of such actors and actresses is below:
1. Yasho Sagar
Yasho Sagar made his debut in Telugu with “Ullasanga Uthsahanga” in 2008 and impressed audience with his comedy timing. The Karnataka actor lost his life in a road accident on December 19th 2012. His second film Mr Premikudu which was in the shooting process, had to get shelved, after his death.
2. Bhargavi
Bhargavi was introduced in Devdas movie, directed by YVS Chowdary. She was later offered a second heroine role in Ashtachemma movie. Just before she was being flooded with the movie offers, the actress was murdered on December 14, 2008, by her alleged boyfriend Praveen Kumar. He murdered Bhargavi as she allegedly neglected him, after getting busy with the films.
3. Achyuth
Achyuth has attained good craze through his acting in several Telugu serials. He was even offered many supporting roles in the films. It was Thammudu, in which he played as an elder brother to Pawan Kalyan, that brought him good identity. He died on December 26th,2002, due to a heart stroke.
4. Divya Bharti
Divya Bharti is one of the very few actresses in Indian film industry, who has attained massive craze in a very short time. She was just 16, when she shared the screen opposite Venkatesh in Bobbili Raja. She also entered into Bollywood with Vishwatma movie in 1992. It was on April 5, 1993, Divya Bharti collapsed from her building’s balcony in Mumbai and lost her life. While a few opine that it was a murder, there was no valid proof for it.
5. Prathyusha
When there was a scarcity of Telugu heroines in Tollywood, Prathyusha was identified as a talented Telugu actress. She made her debut in Rayudu, as a supporting character artist and later was offered some crazy projects like Snehamante Idera, Kalusukovalani, Sri Ramulaiah, Samudram etc. Prathyusha along with her boyfriend Siddharth Reddy has consumed poison, after their parents rejected their marriage proposal. While her boyfriend recovered after the treatment, Prathyusha couldn’t, on February 23rd, 2002.
6. Aarthi Agarwal
Among the very few heroines who came from Bollywood to Tollywood, Aarthi Agarwal was one. After her debut with Pagalpan in Bollywood, at the age of 16, she acted opposite Venkatesh in Nuvvu Naku Nachav. The film went on to be a massive success and Aarthi instantly rose to fame within no time. As she was putting in over-weight, she had to face obesity issues. It was during her obesity treatment on June 6th, 2015, Aarthi lost her life in America.
7. Uday Kiran
Uday Kiran was one of those very few heroes in Tollywood, who entered into the film industry with no background and yet managed to make it big there. At a point of time, Uday Kiran was identified as a hot favorite of many girls and the college students were in awe of him. But as the time passed, just like any other hero, even he lost form. Uday, who couldn’t take it, had committed suicide on January 4, 2014, in his flat in Hyderabad. His death was most remembered and most mourned in the last decade.
8. Soundarya
Soundarya has experienced an immense stardom in her career. After Savitri, it was her who enjoyed such status and pride of a heroine. She was mainly lauded for her sensitivity and relatible acting skills.
Soundarya was the hot favorite of family audiences at that time. But the legendary actress had to face death on April 17th, 2004 due to an aircraft crash. She was on her way to Karimnagar from Bangalore, which turned into her last journey unexpectedly. It thus turned out to be a black day for the Telugu movie lovers.
