A few days ago, Andhra Pradesh Minister Perni Nani suggested that the Telangana government should pass a resolution in the Telangana Assembly, for the unification of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana into a single state, like it was until 2014. This statement came after KCR said that the people of AP were asking for the TRS party to be established in AP as well. Nani said that there was no need for that, and suggested that TS and AP be made one again.
Nani also said that AP CM Jagan and the YSRCP government was willing to pass a resolution for the unification of AP and TS, in the AP assembly, if the same thing was done in the TS assembly. No one from the TRS has yet responded to this statement, but Telangana Congress MLA and party’s working president Jagga Reddy came in support of the statement made by Nani.
Jagga Reddy said that he is ready to support the proposal if a resolution is passed in the TS assembly by CM KCR. This statement by Jagga Reddy is shocking everyone in the Telangana State, especially the members of the Telangana Congress, given that BJP is already targeting the TRS members for not responding to Nani’s statement. It is now to be seen what will happen.
