The Telangana government has penned a letter to the Krishna River Management Board(KRMB) on illegal projects being constructed by the Andhra Pradesh government on the Krishna River. Rajat Kumar, Telangana Special Secretary, Department of Irrigation, wrote a letter to the AP government asking it to stop the current construction projects. The Telangana government complained about the Rayalaseema uplifting and the expansion work of Pothireddipadu. The Telangana government mentioned in the letter that the construction and uplifting works were continuing despite the imposition of the NGT stay.
The Telangana cabinet expressed outrage over several projects being constructed by the AP government in the recent Telangana cabinet meeting chaired by CM KCR held at Pragathi Bhavan.
