As all the obstacles have been cleared and even High Court has given green signal, Telangana is getting ready for the municipal elections. The state government is planning to conduct the elections in this coming January.
As assembly budget meetings are set to be held, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is keen to conduct the municipal elections even before such meetings. Regarding this, he is planning to divide wards and later, the election commission will release the final list of voters.

Even in the heat of TSRTC, surprisingly, TRS has witnessed a massive victory in the Huzur Nagar by-elections. So the ruling party is of the hope of repeating the victory even in the municipal elections.
On the other side, the opposition parties, especially Congress is confident of winning a huge number of seats, anticipating that the alleged dictatorship of KCR towards TSRTC workers has created a huge negativity among the public. Adding to it, the Hand symbol party is hoping that the TSRTC workers and their families across the state would teach a lesson to the ruling party by ignoring TRS in the municipal elections. It should be seen, whose anticipations would turn true.
