The Telangana High Court has clarified that neither state government, nor RTC management has suspended the TSRTC workers.
Even after the TSRTC workers called off their strike, they were not allowed to rejoin the duties. Hurt by this, professor PL Vishweswar Rao has filed a petition in the court, asking it to intervene in the issue. He said that the non-responsive attitude of the government is forcing the employees to take drastic steps.
But the court countered the petition, defending the government and RTC management. It blamed RTC JAC leaders for calling the strike. It further asked evidences to prove that the deaths of RTC workers are due to the government’s negligence as the petitioner claimed.

The TS court suggested to take legal procedure for the financial settlements like PF etc. “On resuming their duties, employees have the capacity to invoke Labor Law and there are many ways to get their grievances addressed,” the court said.
The court asked the petitioner to come up with a new petition as the lives of TSRTC workers are in trouble.
