The Telugu Desam Party has been waging a war against the YSRCP government’s stand on liquor in the state. It is public knowledge that Chief Minsiter YS Jagan Mohan Reddy very famously said that he plans on the complete prohibition of alcohol during his tenure, of he is voted to power, in the lead up to the 2019 elections. But, in a completely contrasting manner, the YSRCP government has been promoting cheap and unsafe liquor.
The situation has gotten so out of hand that many people lost their lives due to consuming the cheap liquor available in the state. Following this, the TDP has been constantly carrying out protests against the YSRCP government, calling for an explanation of the situation.
The TDP has now launched a website, www.killerjbrands.com, to combat the liquor problem in the state. This portal can be used to lodge complaints against the YSRCP government, and the cheap liquor brands that are available in the state. The TDP also said that it would carry out digital protests against the YSRCP government on this portal until the government changes its liquor policy.
