TDP ex-MLA from Eluru district, Dendulur Mandal, Chintamaneni Prabhakar, has been staying in Hyderabad for the past few days, where he’s been conducting cock fights, on the outskirts of the city.
The Hyderabad police conducted raids today after they got informed about the same, and Chintamaneni managed to escape from the area, somehow skipping the police.
At the sight, the police department is said to have seized 100 cocks, and Rs. 10 Lakhs worth of cash. Two persons involved in the incident are also said to be taken into custody.
It is to be noted that this is not the first dispute that Chintamaneni is a part of, as he has been associated with various controversies over time. The police department is now in search of Chintamaneni.
