TDP MLA candidate for Nuzvid constituency, Venkateshwara Rao alleged that the EVMs are being shifted from the strong rooms, without informing the political parties.
After concluding the elections in Nuzvid, the EVMs and other polling equipment has been stored in the strong room at Machilipatnam Krishna University campus.
The TDP leader who recently observed that a few of the EVM machines are being shifted from the strong room, has reached out to the concerned authorities in the election commission to complain on the issue.
The authorities, responding to the complaint, said that the equipment that was shifted was either not used on the election day or found to be defective and opined that such shifting of the unused equipment from the strong room is very common.
As the rumors are rife that the YSRCP is being backed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is thus manipulating the EVMs, the TDP leaders are leaving no opportunity to blame the opposition in this regard.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is busy in fighting against the EC, in Delhi. He is gathering all his friends in the regional parties of the other states and is also moving to the Supreme Court.
