After three key MLAs of TDP were suspended from assembly, others leaders in the house, tried to raise the issue, but all such pleas were disallowed. Aggrieved over this, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, along with his party MLAs walked out of the house and staged a dharna in front of the Assembly, along with suspended MLAs.
The opposition leaders said that they are boycotting today’s assembly session in the assembly, against the ruling party members, for not allowing its members to debate on the suspension of its MLAs, failures of ruling party etc.
Yesterday, the opposition party raised about the issue of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s earlier promise, which is to provide pensions for SC, ST, BC and Minority women aged above 45 years.

The issue has gone extremely viral on the social media with many TDP activists sharing Jagan’s old videos, in which he promised to give the pension. The ruling party, however, tried to defend the argument, saying that they never promised any such scheme and has not even included it in the party’s election manifesto.
Though the TDP MLAs had to face an embarrassment in assembly with suspension, it is YSRCP, that is facing backlash from the public, for failing to keep up the promise of giving pensions to people aged over 45 years.
