This Sankranthi season is a huge one as two big films of the industry competed for the upper hand one against another and served enough entertainment in the theatres. Finally, Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo’ beat Mahesh’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ with a pretty good margin and its unstoppable pre-bookings are the evidence for that. Even Sarileru garnered some good numbers at BO despite divide talk.

The things are going really ugly on the twitter between the production houses of these two biggies. They continue to poke each other in an insulting manner devastating a healthy environment in terms of competition in the industry. Mainly Geetha Arts are overboard with their first-ever biggest blockbuster as Allu Arjun is likely to enter the 100 crore club at the end of the festive season.

On the other side, AK entertainments that belong to Anil Sunkara is not backing off at any cost. They continue the banter and took this war to the whole next level. Anil Sunkara tweets a promo cut from ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ in which Mahesh Babu says ‘Take a bow for your cunningness and manipulation’ which is clearly aimed at Allu Arjun.

The above promo filled with revenge came as a reply for a tweet posted by the Geetha Arts where Allu Arjun pokes at Harsha (in ‘Ala’ movie) ” This is the first time I am seeing a man who claims with confidence, the things he hasn’t done yet,” which is aimed at Mahesh’s recent posters where their movie’s gross is mentioned.

This whole thing started when the Sarileru team promoted their film with ‘Blockbuster ka Baap’ phrase and ‘Ala’ team considered themselves as ‘Ranku Mogudu’ and ‘Sankranthi Winner’.

These are the facts – There will definitely be a 15-20 cr margin between Allu Arjun and Mahesh in the final run. Mahesh’s film failed at the Box Office due to the inexperience and immaturity of Anil Ravipudi. In fact, Mahesh beat Allu Arjun on Day 1 collections comfortably with his huge market and stardom.

So, everyone has their own pros and cons. Geetha Arts and Allu Arjun should continue the same tempo instead of getting mad at their first-ever grand success.

Even, Mahesh should count the good things as he performed like a pro in this movie. Nevertheless continuing this banter would decrease the respect they have among neutrals as some posters have already become laughing stocks in social media.
