The makers of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ are yet to finalize the actor who plays the antagonist in the film. A few Bollywood actors were in consideration but none of them have been finalized by the producers.
The latest news is that team Pushpa is planning to rope in Tamil hero Arya for the antagonist role in the film.
Arya was previously seen alongside Allu Arjun in Varudu and if things go as planned, he will play a pivotal role in Pushpa next.
The makers of Pushpa are expected to initiate talks with Arya soon and an official announcement regarding this will made once the actor signs the dotted line.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is already shooting for the film in Maredumilli forest region. He has shed a few kilos for the film and underwent a physical makeover.
Pushpa has Sukumar at the helm and it is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Rashmika Mandanna is pairing up with Allu Arjun in the rural action thriller.
