It is known that Kollywood star Suriya and director Bala have teamed up for a film after nearly 20 years.
On the occasion of director Bala’s 56th birthday today, the title of the upcoming film was revealed by the makers. It has been titled ‘Achaludu’ in Telugu and Vanangaan in Tamil. The shooting of Achaludu is currently progressing at a brisk pace.
The first look poster sees Suriya donning a vest and sporting beads around his neck. With a moustache and a beard, the actor looked intense in the poster, which reveals only half of his face.
Suriya and Bala had earlier joined forces for films – Nandha was released in 2001 and Pithamagan in 2013. The actor also appeared in a cameo in Bala’s Avan Ivan. Achaludu is produced by the actor’s 2D Entertainment. The movie also stars Uppena girl Krithi Shetty and Mollywood actress Mamitha Baiju.
