Suriya-Mohanlal starrer Kaappaan trailer has hit the internet just-a-while. While the fans, however gave it an instant thumbs up, it is divided talk from the movie lovers.
The Telugu version of Kaappaan is titled as Bandobasth and its trailer has been released long back. As the Telugu trailer has got a mixed talk, it seems, the makers released the Tamil version in a different manner.
Going by the trailer, it can be understood that the concept is something closer to destroying the farmlands of a state and trying to make the country super powerful. Unlike portraying it as a regular commercial film, it seems the director tried to inject some drama to the screenplay, which can be seen through the various get ups of Suriya in the trailer. In few areas, he is showcased as an undercover agent and in a few other scenes, he is seen as a farmer. He is also said to be playing a bureaucrat in Bandobast.
For the huge concepts like this, the heroine’s character will just be of a glamour material. Even Sayyesha seems to be paying the similar kind of unimportant role in the film, as revealed in a few shots of the Kaappaan trailer.
KV Anand, who earlier handled a blockbuster like Ko (Rangam in Telugu) is directing Bandobasth. The film is all set to hit the screens on 20th of this month in both Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously.
