Suresh Babu refuses to comment on CBN arrest

The arrest of TDP cheif Chandrababu Naidu is the most talked about topic in the Telugu states and naturally, there is the expectation on the film industry to comment on this political development.

Today, producer Suresh Babu was asked about his stance and that of Tollywood’s on the arrest of CBN.

“See, my father worked for TDP and so did I. But I cant let my personal inclinations reflect on the film industry as a whole. We all might have our personal favorites, but as an industry, Tollywood will remain as a neutral body both politically and religiously. This is a conscious effort and shall not be changed under any circumstances” Suresh Babu pointed out.

Suresh Babu added that the film industry doesn’t have the need or the obligation to have its say on political matters. He says this is the way that the film industry should be operating in general.
