The Supreme court gave a huge relief to the former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash. The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition filed by the ED in the Telangana High Court seeking revocation of the anticipatory bail granted to Ravi Prakash.
The ED requested the Telangana High Court to cancel the anticipatory bail granted for Ravi Prakash a few months ago. The Supreme Court did not agree to it.
The Supreme court questioned whether Ravi Prakash had violated the bail rules. The tribunal was of the view that the High Court had granted anticipatory bail after examining everything. The Supreme court said it was dismissing the entire petition.
Meanwhile, Ravi Prakash has filed three separate petitions in the high court in the last few months seeking an order directing the regional passport authorities to issue a new passport. He said he was unfairly fired as a TV9 director. In his petitions, Ravi Prakash alleged that his passport, valuable documents, and some cash remained in the cabin where he was sitting in the TV9 office.
