Expelled AIADMK leader VK Sasikala arrived Chennai on Tuesday, 23 hours after she departed from Bengaluru, where she served a 4-year sentence in Bengaluru Central Prison.
The 65-year-old former confidante of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa arrived at T Nagar around 7 am Today. She travelled by road from the Karnataka capital on Monday morning and received a grand reception by her followers all along the way, till she entered Chennai this morning.
Before reaching her residence, Chinnamma visited the residence of AIADMK founder MGR at Ramapuram and offered tributes to his portrait and garlanded a statue of the former Chief minister leader installed there.
In an unexpected turn of events, Superstar Rajinikanth has spoken to TTV Dinakaran over the phone and enquired about Sasikala’s health. Just minutes after she returned to Chennai, Dhinakaran revealed the news that Rajini phoned him. Rajinikanth had announced earlier last month that he’s opting out of politics.
