Talented director Sukumar is supposed to direct the Telugu remake of the blockbuster Malayalam remake Lucifer. But unfortunately, Sukumar has to move on for his next film Pushpa with Allu Arjun. So, the mega chance was shifted to Sujith.
A few days back, we’ve already reported that the young director Sujith has worked on the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer and made necessary changes to suit Telugu nativity and Megastar image. Now, the latest reports suggest that Megastar has requested Sukumar to give final touch for the Lucifer script, which was prepared by Sujith, during the lockdown period.
Touted to be a political thriller with a brother and sister sentiment drama, Chiranjeevi will reprise the role of Mohanlal in the Lucifer remake. Mega Power Star Ram Charan will bankroll the movie on his Konidela Production Company Banner in association with UV Creations. On the other hand, Chiru will be next seen in Acharya, which is being directed by Koratala Siva, but due to coronavirus breakdown, the shooting of the film has been stopped
