Star director Sukumar will be directing Allu Arjun in his next project which will hit the floors soon. All the pre-production work for this film has been wrapped up already and there isn’t much preparation that is due before the unit starts shoot, barring some set-related activities.
In the meanwhile, Sukumar is apparently focussing on his next production venture that has Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role. It is known that young director Karthik Dandu is directing this film.
“When I first approached Sukumar garu, he liked the story and asked me to wait for a year. He later came on board to produce the film and even turned screenplay writer. He said he would be involved with the project only if he is fully engaged with the screenplay and I joyfully agreed,” Karthik said.
The young director further adds that Sukumar asked him to come up with 3-4 alternative versions and then rework on subplots before giving the green signal.
“Sai Dharam Tej liked the story and he gave his nod instantly. The film is based on superstitious beliefs in the 70’s and I am planning to project Sai Dharam Tej in a new manner,” Karthik adds.
Well, it appears to be that Sukumar is focusing on Sai Dharam Tej’s project as of now. He is partnering with BVSN Prasad to produce this film.
