Suicide rate on peaks in AP in 2018 – How good are YS Jagan’s schemes?

In 2018, AP stood at fourth position in the nation in case of suicide rate. 30% of the people who committed suicide took that decision due to prolonged ill health and money – treatment costs imbalance.

Among the other 70%, majority of the suicides are due to financial crisis and increasing debts. YS Jagan came up with several schemes in 2018 and most of them are getting implemented in 2019. “Will this save AP from suicides?” turned to be an interesting topic.

YS Jagan’s schemes included health benefits for the poor and the needy. This may help the 30% of the people who are thinking of suicide as the solution for their illness. Few schemes of YS Jagan were intended to help farmers and the needy to cover up their financial crisis.

Overall, the schemes has the power to reduce the suicide rate and the analysts were mentioning that the schemes has to be implemented correctly to achieve it. Lets hope that the initiatives from Government of Andhra Pradesh will be helpful for the needy.
