A picture, where the students were seen wearing cartons on the head and writing exams, is going viral all over the social media. The incident took place in Bhagat Pre-University College in Karnataka’s Haveri town.
The cardboard boxes were cut, just near the eyes, to allow the students to read and write on their papers. The institute came up with the idea, to avoid the students from copying during the midterm exams. Even the invigilators were seen monitoring the students.
The picture has been circulated widely on all the social media platforms and most of the netizens went against the idea. Even Education minister of Karnataka, S Suresh Kumar, has reacted to it, and tweeted through his official Twitter account.

The post reads, “This is totally unacceptable. Nobody has any right to treat anybody more so students like animals. This pervertion will be dealt with aptly.”
Meanwhile, the institute head, who is shocked to receive such kind of negative response, has responded to it, saying a similar method was earlier implemented by a college in Bihar and received appreciations all over. He said that he did not expect such outrage, when the same was followed by his college.
