The producers are getting that revenue from the platform. Also, it is important these days that distributor along with the producer should be safe. Those who purchased the film should also be happy.
Just because a producer made a film in ten crore it is not right to sell it for twenty crores however good the buzz might be on the film. Profits should be made in a decent and a healthy manner.
Certain times we can blame a distributor. They buy the film for fancy rates for ego satisfaction. Though the film in a certain area deserves a small price, they spend more which is insane.
