Special Focus: Aarogya Setu app beats Facebook’s record

Indian app Aarogya Setu, which came amidst the Covid-19 crisis to help people track the virus hit areas, crossed 5 Crore users in a record time of 13 days. Previously, Facebook achieved this feat in 19 days.

National Informatics Centre developed this app and is now the most trending app in India. This app is expected to cross all other apps worldwide in the number of users. Indian Government prepared Aarogya Setu for the safety of the people and several advanced countries are still in the process of making similar apps.

In between the Covid-19 struggle, India is proving itself to be an inspiring country with quick response to the problems. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a call to the nation regarding Aarogya Setu app saying that everyone should definitely install it to keep themselves safe. Government is aiming to communicate to each and every individual regarding the Covid-19 and the safety measures, through this app.
