SPB still on ventilator, lungs functioning yet to improve

SP Balasubramaniam continues to be on ventilator support as his lungs functioning is yet to reach the desired level, said his son, Charan in the latest video he shared.

“Dad tested negative for Covid-19 and is showing signs of improvement. But his lungs are not recovering at an initially anticipated pace. He continues to be on ventilator support, but he is completely off sedation,” he said.

Charan went on to say that SPB has been watching Cricket and Tennis on his iPad and has also been communicating a lot when compares to the past.

“Coronavirus infection is no more a problem and we are hoping that dad’s lungs functioning will improve soon. We were waiting for a good news over the weekend, but his recovery is taking more time than expected,” Charan stated.

It is known that SP Balasubramaniam is presently being treated at MGM Hospital, Chennai after he tested positive for Covid-19 in August.
