Not to mention specifically how the Covid-19 infections are rising in India lately. While the government is carrying out the vaccination program, the infections continue to rise with a record number of cases registering in a single day.
To this end, the government today launched a large-scale vaccination program. Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood became a partner in the program called ‘Sanjeevani–A Shot of Life’. This is an initiative to inspire people to get vaccinated against coronavirus and raising awareness about the vaccination drive in India.
Sonu Sood took the Covid-19 jab at the Apollo Hospital on Wednesday as a part of the launch on the occasion of World Health Day.
Speaking at the launch of the initiative ‘Sanjeevani’, Sonu Sood said, “I wanted to start this drive because I feel it is very important to bring that awareness among people who are still thinking whether or not they should get vaccinated.”
The actor appealed to everyone to get vaccinated against the virus as soon as possible to keep their families and citizens safe.
