It was in this context, a request has been received by Sonu Sood from a corona patient on May 15 seeking a bed at Ganjam City. Sonu Sood responded to it and arranged a bed at Ganjam city hospital. For this, he has been countered by the Ganjam District Magistrate. The District Magistrate tweeted, “We don’t receive any communication from @SoodFoundation or @SonuSood. The requested patient is in Home isolation and stable. No bed issues @BrahmappurCorp is monitoring it. @CMO_Odisha.”
Responding to this, Sonu Sood took to his Twitter platform and tweeted, “Sir, we never claimed that we approached you, it’s needy who approached us and we arranged the bed for him, attached are the chats for your reference. Your office is doing a great job and you can double-check that we had helped him too. Have DM you his contact details. Jai Hind.”
