We know that Satyadev and Nithya Menen have teamed up for sci-fi period drama Skylab. The trailer of the film was released on November 6.
Set in the 70s, the film is based on a real incident. It will see Menen in the role of a journalist Gauri, a zamindar’s daughter who strives to create her own identity. Satyadev is seen as Anand, a self-centred doctor, who always returns to his village to open a clinic.
The trailer looks very fresh and promising. As it is based on true events back in 70s, the makers have done an excellent job in creating the scenes which match the reality. Skylab is set to have a theatrical release on December 4 this year.
Directed by Vishvak Khanderao, the film also stars Rahul Ramakrishna in a crucial role. Tanikella Bharani, Tulasi, Vishnu and Anusha will be seen in supporting roles. Prashanth R Vihari is composing tunes for the movie. Skylab is being produced under the banners Byte Features and Nithya Menen Company.
