A tragic incident happened in the Visakhapatnam district that six members of the same family were brutally murdered in their house in Juttada village during the early hours of Thursday.
Appalaraju, who lived in the same neighbourhood, reportedly killed three women, a man, a 2-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl with a sickle at Juttada in Pendurthi Mandal on the outskirts of the city.
Police believe that an ongoing dispute between their families was the reason behind these gruesome murders. The dispute had occurred between the two families back in 2018, involving a member of the victims’ family, Vijay, and the daughter of the attacked. Going into details, there was a love affair between Appalaraju’s daughter and Vijay.
In 2018, Appalaraju lodged a complaint against Vijay over his love affair with the daughter. Not satisfied with the police treatment, Appalaraju, who had a grudge against the family, had killed them brutally this morning. The accused has been taken into police custody.
