Sir Pre-release event, Dhanush – Sir is a simple film with grand emotions

The pre-release event of Tamil actor Dhanush’s first Telugu film, Sir, has taken place in Hyderabad today. The movie is produced under the Sithara Entertainments banner, with Venky Atluri directing the film. Samyuktha Hegde is the leading lady of this film, for which GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. Director Trivikram Srinivas attended the event as the chief guest.

Talking about the film, director Venky Atluri expressed immense confidence in the movie doing well at the box office. He said that everyone will like the film a lot, and said that he’s confident that the film will run for at least 4 weeks in the Telugu states and 8 weeks in Tamil Nadu. Venky also said that Dhanush mesmerized everyone on set with his performance in front of the camera and said that he’s incredibly lucky to have directed him,

Director Trivikram Srinivas said that he has watched the film and that he’s immensely confident in the kind of film Sir has turned out to be. He said that the film will remain with us till the end. Trivikram said that Dhanush is a fearless actor who doesn’t care about the end product of a film and is only always concentrated on the filmmaking process. He said that he hopes that the Telugu audience is going to welcome Dhanush very warmly with the film.

Dhanush said that he’s very nervous about the film’s release and that he’s always this way whenever any of his films releases in a new language. He said that the film is a simple film, with grand emotions and a very honest message that is told in a very entertaining way. He said that he hopes that the Telugu audiences will like Sir and that they will shower their love on him. He thanked music director Thaman, who attended the event and praised his work on Akhanda. Dhanush ended the event by singing Mastaru Mastaru song from the film.
