Scientists in England unveiled an important fact regarding the spread of coronavirus. They said that the vaccine not only protects against the coronavirus but also reduced the spread of the coronavirus. It has been found that the risk of transmitting the virus from an infected person to a family member after a single dose of vaccine is reduced by 50%.
To this end, the Public Health England(PHE) researchers have conducted a study on those who have been vaccinated with the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines. They found that the risk of people getting infected with the virus is 38-49 percent lesser. This shows the importance of the vaccine in the fight against pandemics. Medical experts have previously found that the risk of contracting the virus is higher in homes, prisons, or cohabiting areas.
