The other day, Andhra Pradesh cabinet ministers Anil Kumar Yadav and Botcha Sathyanarayana said the state government will not let the Telugu film industry loot the public by imposing heavy ticket prices hike.
Now, noted senior actor Siddhart has taken indirect potshots at the ministers who spoke against the film industry.
“Ministers who speak of reducing cost of cinema and passing on the discount to customers.. We are tax payers. We are paying for all your luxuries…+ the lacs of crores politicians have earned through corruption… Reduce your luxuries. Give us our discount.”
“How bout reducing the size and amenities of stadiums and reducing the cost of staging cricket matches… Pass on the discount to the customer… question cricketer salaries. They have talent. Actors have what? Entertainment is entertainment. Why this hatred for our industry?” Siddharth tweeted.
