Siddharth Takes A Jibe At Nirmala Sitharaman over fuel prices

Petrol and diesel prices across the country are skyrocketing. Petrol has crossed the 100-mark in a few states. From commoners to many celebrities in the country, slammed the Narendra Modi led union government over the increasing fuel prices.

Kollywood star Siddharth, who is well known on Twitter for his outspoken statements and openly expresses his opinion, took a jibe at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman against the hike in fuel prices. He shared a video posted by public interest lawyer Prashant Bhushan in which Sitharaman has responded to the hike in fuel prices in 2013 and 2020.

In 2013, when Congress was in government, Nirmala Sitharaman held the government responsible for the increase in petrol prices. Now, she blamed the oil companies for the price hike. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Maami is next level flexible in her belief system. No onions, no memory, no principles. Maami rocks!”.
