Shruti Haasan in Chiranjeevi’s film

Shruti Haasan shot to fame through Gabbar Singh in Telugu and had few hit films in hand like Race Gurram, Srimanthudu etc.

She was last seen in Katamarayudu and later left the films to pursue her passion in music. But reportedly director Koratala Siva recently met her and narrated an interested character and convinced her to say yes.

Koratala Siva will next direct a film with Chiranjeevi, right after the mega star wraps up Sye Raa. It’s in this film, Shruti will be seen in an interesting village girl role, which comes as a flashback episode in the yet-to-be titled film.

Shruti Haasan was earlier worked with Koratala Siva in Srimanthudu movie which was a blockbuster. Expecting that the same result would repeat and speed up her career in the film, the Kamal’s kutty accepted the offer.
