Shocking: Arjun Reddy’s Tamil version shows cancelled in Telugu States

Adithya Vema is a disaster in Telugu States. It had various pressures before release and has to withstand the blockbuster hit figures in Telugu i.e Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh in Hindi.

Gireesayya is the director of the film, he had worked as the co-director in Telugu version and was toying with the idea of making his debut in Telugu as a director when he got this offer to direct this one.

But that takes us back to one question, why was director Bala’s version shelved? The dubbing was done, the first copy also had come out and the film was about to go to the censor board when Bala was asked to reshoot the film.

Bala refused and Gireesayya was roped in. It was obvious they did not like the film, so wanted to shelve it….instead they suggested Bala to reshoot so that he would quit the project.

The film is out and is doing average business in Tamil Nadu. In the Telugu States, shows have been cancelled due to lack of crowds.
