Following the success of their previous hit, “Vaishali,” actor Aadhi Pinisetty and director Arivazhagan have teamed up once again for the film “Sabdham,” a captivating supernatural crime thriller. The production is a joint venture between 7G Films Siva and Aalpha Frames, with S Banupriya Siva co-producing it.
The film’s first look was released earlier, and today, the teaser was unveiled by none other than Victory Venkatesh. The teaser has generated immense buzz, showcasing a chilling atmosphere that sets the stage for the film.
Aadhi Pinisetty, who plays the lead, is depicted investigating peculiar noises in a seemingly haunted house, a place haunted with strange occurrences. The teaser cleverly reveals the ensemble cast without giving away too much, and it certainly meets the high expectations set by the audience. Sabdham is a horror movie that uses sound to scare people. The sounds in the movie’s preview are really good. The movie shows how sound can be used to create fear.
Cinematographer Arun Bathmanabhan’s camera work adds to the suspense in every scene, complemented by Thaman S’s music, which significantly amplifies the tension.
Unlike “Vaishali,” which featured numerous rain sequences, “Sabdham” seems to have special focus on sound-centric scenes.
Film was shot in the locations spanned across Mumbai, Munnar, and Chennai, including a specially constructed 120-year-old library set.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Simran, Laila, Rajeev Menon, Lakshmi Menon, M.S. Bhaskar, Redin Kingsley, and others in significant roles. National award winner Sabu Joseph is editing the film, while Manoj Kumar is taking care of the art direction. The release date for “Sabdham” will be announced very soon.
