Senseless reports on Vijay’s Leo OTT deal

RRR changed the game for Netflix by gaining the OTT giant global fame and serving as a star-value product.

Coming to the topic, Tamil media is busy campaigning that Netflix has shelled out Rs 120 crores for the OTT rights of Tamil star Vijay’s next film, Leo.

This is as senseless as it can get. Why on earth would Netflix pay Rs 120 crores for a film that is barely known out of Tamil Nadu? Vijay is unknown outside of South India and there isn’t much going into Leo either, a social media user commented.

These reports have turned out to be laughing stocks on social media as everyone’s ridiculing about the report that Netflix paid a mighty Rs 120 crores for Leo.

Leo is still in early stages of production now and it is billed to be another product of the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe.
